Job Description
Scope of work
Our client is seeking an Analyst to join their Technical Operation Center (TOC). The successful candidate is expected to plan and implement information systems that will improve organizational productivities.
Service Level Requirements:
The selected contractor will be responsible for reviewing current supported application suite and determine if there is a more current version that needs to be implemented. The candidate is expected to work with peers and management to determine the priority of application upgrades and operating system patches if implementation is necessary. The candidate should be knowledgeable in computer systems applications and must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Work Duties:
3+ years of application packaging experience
Strong proficiency experience creating Windows 10 software installation and removal packages
Knowledge and experience operating in a virtual desktop environment, VMware preferred
Strong understanding of Windows operating systems
Ability to create customer scripts (VB or PowerShell) and utilities
Knowledge and experience of Windows Software Update Services (WSUS) to manage and maintain Microsoft patches
Knowledge of IT Infrastructure and client server application
Knowledge of Active Directory and Group Policies
Strong customer service skills

Work Duties:
- Prepare software packages, thoroughly test in test environment
- Work with end users across the organization to test in production environment, if successful move to the full production deployment
- Provide remedy to problem if unsuccessful
- Provide tier 3 support to Windows 10 users as needed
- Test both application patches and Windows 10 security patches and updates. Work with business units to test their application suite and work flows with these to determine if we can move forward and implement in production with no impact to business.
- Analyze IT requirements and provide objective advice on the use of IT
