Job Description
Position Summary
The position provides overall program leadership for subsequent related Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) projects, oversees selection and implementation of the applications and/or services or upgrades to existing on-premises applications, and drives continuous improvement to business processes and business results. The position also assists in coordinating maintenance and enhancement efforts to leverage enterprise resources, knowledge, and best practices.
This position ensures the successful transfer of knowledge from the implementation team to the postimplementation support organization and to all employees affected by the implementation. The position works closely with business and technical leadership, serving as an expert resource, bringing forth opportunities to leverage ERP initiatives to better the business and influence decisions regarding business process changes.
Primary Responsibilities
This is a position of influence, negotiation, and expectation management:
• Maintains complete autonomy for the management of the ERP initiative to meet the needs of the business, as outlined in the ERP business case and articulated by the ERP steering committee.
• Leads the successful implementation of large scale, progressive ERP programs.
• Charters large scale IT investments by facilitating the definition of ERP program objectives, success criteria, scope, governance, multi-year schedule, and budget.
• Defines effective program management processes, structure, roles, and responsibilities to successful execution and delivery of business objectives.
• Leads business and IT executives in scope alignment and definition sessions, identifies program critical success factors and drives mitigation of significant issues and risks.
• As a principal member of staff, ensures maximum team engagement and outstanding stakeholder satisfaction.
• Effectively manages project scope, schedule, cost (budget), quality, risk, and resources.
• Effectively removes blockers and mitigates project risks improving team efficiency and ensuring successful delivery.
• Implements, supports, and coaches others to consistently follow industry leading practices in program scope, schedule, and financial management.
• Maintains and controls the ERP project budget, schedule, and resources.
• Responsible for ERP projects, including project planning, resource allocation, steering committee leadership and team organizational structure management.

Job Requirements
Education
Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, information systems, business administration or related field; or equivalent work experience.
Experience
• 15+ years of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) System, IT, and business/industry work.
• Successfully led 5+ enterprise-level multi-functional ERP programs/projects including at least one Cloud ERP project (e.g., an ERP project that realized its anticipated business benefits and was delivered in a timely manner within budgetary boundaries) utilizing the same software (vendor and version, if possible) that is being implemented in the same or similar industry sector. A minimum of 3+ full life cycle ERP Financial implementation.
• 10+ years of leading large scale, enterprise product programs, with a background in financial systems, Cloud offerings and sophisticated project management, preferably depth in ERP Systems.
• 12+ years of demonstrated technical program management experience in ERP Systems.
• 10+ years of leading a portfolio of related projects using Program and/or Portfolio Management best-practices and influencing senior-level management and key stakeholders.
• Certification from recognized authority preferred (e.g., Project Management Professional [PMP] certification from the Project Management Institute [PMI]).
Knowledge/Skills
• Develops, plans, and implements the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system.
